Anisha Imhoff-Kerr

Anisha Imhoff-Kerr was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 11. Since that time, she has worked toward her own recovery and helping educate others in the community about awareness issues surrounding mental illness in youth. Ms. Imhoff-Kerr has spoken at different state and national conferences on issues such as school and family support systems, stigma in schools and the community, and how to use your recovery to help others.

In 2001, Ms. Imhoff-Kerr co-founded a group called State of Mine, a mental health advocacy group for teenagers in Albuquerque and throughout New Mexico. Through State of Mine, she has produced bipolar awareness videos and community awareness art shows, and has begun teenage support groups.
