Live Your Life Well is a national campaign developed to educate the public about the importance of mental health to overall health and wellness. This campaign offers 10 evidence-based tools that one can use to support optimal mental health. The goal is to encourage people in distress to attend to their mental health through any combination of self-care, social support and professional help.

Mental Health America has been working for 100 years to promote well-being for all Americans. Now we have put together the 10 Tools to Live Your Life Well.  Based on extensive scientific evidence, these tools can help you relax, grow and flourish. They can help you Live Your Life Well.

Dialogue for Recovery

Dialogue for Recovery is a Mental Health America program aimed at educating consumers about prevalent mental health conditions, treatment options and quality of life issues affecting their recovery. Dialogue for Recovery is also designed to enhance communication between consumers and their health care providers so that consumers can find the right combination of medications and support services to develop effective treatment plans.

Real Lives

Real Lives is a unique online community created to make the consumer voice heard. This anonymous, inclusive forum gives visitors the opportunity to connect with others facing similar struggles. Whether their journey towards recovery has been successful or they are just taking their first steps, we encourage individuals to take a look through the posts and share their own story. Sharing one’s own experiences through writing or talking is an important stage of recovery. Just as individuals are supported by reading the thoughts and experiences of others, they can also be the person that helps lift another.
